Benoit was recently commissioned to write music for Pope Benedict XVI's upcoming visit to the US more precisely to Yankee Stadium in New York City on April 20, 2008, the pre-concert and mass will take place in April. It will be broadcast on news stations and websites worldwide. Benoit is also hard at work on a number of exciting original projects include the new Franco Dragone production scheduled to open in Macau in 2009 as well as S-Trip, an impressive multimedia project that marries dance, music and video. He recently composed the music for a special light parade Gary Goddard Entertainment debuted at Six Flags Mexico this year and will be unveiled at Six Flags New Jersey in May 2008.

For the past twenty years, world-renowned French-Canadian composer, Benoit Jutras, has been Musical Director and Principal Composer for the celebrated Cirque Du Soleil. He is currently working with long time creative collaborator Franco Dragone on a massive project in Macau opening in the fall of 2009. His music has been heard around the world and tens of millions of people have seen shows scored by Benoit Jutras. Benoit has sold over 1.5 million records worldwide and the cover of his song “Let Me Fall” (lyrics by Jim Corcoran) was featured on Josh Groban’s debut album and has sold over 12 million copies.
